History
Despite the alterations it underwent in the 17th century, this church presents a remarkable example of a monastic building from the end of the 11th and beginning of the 12th century. This church was formerly the collegiate church of the chapter of Moutier-Rozeille. From the 12th century date the choir, the south absidiole and the south transepts. Two arcades join the choir to the two absidioles of the transept. The plan differs from that generally followed in the construction of the Limousin region, in contrast to the decoration of the capitals and small columns, which is essentially Limousin.
