Cette chapelle est le seul reste du château de Montjouan dont elle occupait l'angle nord-est et à la défense duquel elle concourait par une tour accolée et un contrefort que devait surmonter une bretèche. Ce petit édifice de plan quadrilatère est formé de deux travées trapézoïdales voûtées d'ogives. Au sud s'ouvre, sur la première travée, une porte taillée dans le calcaire, dont l'encadrement est mouluré et se termine par un arc en accolade au-dessus d'un tympan sculpté d'un écu en relief, représentant une corolle à six lobes. Deux têtes grimaçantes en relief surmontent ce tympan. La façade occidentale a été reprise et consolidée par deux contreforts à l'époque moderne.

History
This chapel is the only remaining part of the castle of Montjouan of which it occupied the north-east corner and to the defence of which it contributed by an adjoining tower and a buttress which should have been surmounted by a bretèche. This small building of quadrilateral plan is formed of two trapezoidal bays vaulted with ribs. To the south opens, on the first bay, a door cut in limestone, whose frame is moulded and terminates in an ogee arch above a tympanum sculptured with a coat of arms in relief, representing a corolla with six lobes. Two grimacing heads in relief surmount this tympanum. The western façade has been redone and consolidated by two buttresses in the modern period.
