Historique
Théâtre construit de 1900 à 1903 avec l'aide de l'architecte Anatole de Baudot, élève de Viollet-le-Duc. La façade est caractéristique par son décor. Une large travée centrale consacrée aux ouvertures est cantonnée de deux travées latérales en pierre de taille. Au premier niveau, trois portes sont cantonnées de piliers supportant des consoles qui soutiennent le balcon. Au second niveau, le balcon en fer forgé fait face à trois verrières rectangulaires. Le troisième niveau est percé de verrières en arc plein cintre. Le tout a un couronnement à fronton central semi-circulaire. Tous les niveaux présentent un décor original : céramique, vitrail, décor architectural.

History
Theatre built from 1900 to 1903 with the assistance of the architect Anatole de Baudot, student of Viollet-le-Duc. The façade is characteristic for its decoration. A wide central bay devoted to openings is flanked by two side bays in ashlar stone. At the first level, three doors are flanked by pillars supporting consoles which support the balcony. At the second level, the wrought-iron balcony faces three rectangular glazed windows. The third level is pierced with glazed windows with round arch. The whole has a crowning with a semi-circular central pediment. All levels present original decoration: ceramics, stained glass, architectural decoration.
