De l'église d'origine, qui remonterait à l'époque de Saint-Viance, ne reste rien. Les reliques du saint y furent déposées à sa mort. Au 11e siècle, l'édifice passe entre des mains laïques. Puis, il en est fait don, par les seigneurs possesseurs, à l'abbaye d'Uzerche. L'église est réédifiée au 12e siècle. Le choeur et l'abside ont conservé les dispositions romanes d'origine, tant à l'extérieur qu'à l'intérieur. Chapiteau nord historié. La chapelle latérale nord, du 12e siècle, est également intacte. Portail du 18e siècle au nord.

History
Of the original church, which would date back to the time of Saint-Viance, nothing remains. The relics of the saint were deposited there at his death.
