L'église et le village furent donnés à l'abbaye d'Uzerche par Arbert de Chavanon et son épouse. De plan en croix latine avec chevet plat, cet édifice résulte de la transformation, au 15e siècle, d'une église plus ancienne dont subsiste la partie occidentale de la nef, et le portail. L'église a été restaurée en 1623 et le couronnement du clocher date de 1895.

History
The church and the village were given to the abbey of Uzerche by Arbert de Chavanon and his wife. Of Latin cross plan with flat chevet, this building results from the transformation, in the 15th century, of an older church of which the western part of the nave and the doorway survive. The church was restored in 1623 and the crowning of the bell tower dates from 1895.
