Built in the 13th century and reworked in the 15th, the church came under the authority of the dean of the cathedral chapter of Limoges. The building consists of a single nave of the 12th century, covered with a painted wood ceiling, and terminates with a flat chevet. A chapel opens in the south wall of the nave. At the centre of the western façade opens a porch presenting a polylobed arch formed of three round arch voussoirs whose inner edges are charged with three tores returning each to small columns by means of capitals (bats with wings spread, acanthus leaves, water leaves, bearded head holding the chin, acrobatic figure). The bell tower is isolated but connected to the church by a low wall. Three bevelled cornices delimit four storeys set back one from another. Two round arch openings contain the bells.
