Porte provenant des ruines du château de Ventadour. Le tympan représente un personnage coiffé d'une sorte de mitre, imberbe, jambes nues, épaules couvertes d'un petit manteau. Il est à califourchon sur un lion qu'il cherche à maîtriser. Selon la tradition, cette porte était celle de la prison du château. La porte et son tympan ont été transposées sur la façade d'une maison particulière.

History
Door from the ruins of Ventadour castle. The tympanum depicts a figure wearing a sort of mitre, beardless, with bare legs, shoulders covered by a small cloak. He is astride a lion which he seeks to master. According to tradition, this door was that of the castle prison. The door and its tympanum have been transposed onto the facade of a private house.
