L'église existait en 1025. Un certain Raoul de Clergoux en donne la moitié à l'abbaye de Tulle. L'autre moitié lui fut donnée en 1105. Elle constitue au 14e siècle une prévôté qui garde son indépendance jusqu'en 1731. Edifice en granit avec toiture en lauzes, composé d'une nef unique et un choeur à chevet plat voûté d'ogives (13e siècle). Trois chapelles ouvrent sur la nef, dont deux voûtées d'ogives datant du 15e siècle. L'entrée dans la nef s'effectue par une porte en arc brisé du 14e siècle. Les chapiteaux devaient recevoir la voûte d'ogives originelle qui devait dater des 14e - 15e siècles. La nef est aujourd'hui couverte d'un berceau plein cintre moderne.

History
The church existed in 1025. A certain Raoul de Clergoux gives half of it to the abbey of Tulle. The other half was given to it in 1105. It constitutes in the 14th century a provostry which maintains its independence until 1731. Building in granite with roof covering in stone slabs, composed of a single nave and a choir with a flat chevet with rib vault (13th century). Three chapels open on to the nave, two of which are rib-vaulted dating from the 15th century. Entry into the nave is effected by a pointed arch door of the 14th century. The capitals were to receive the original rib vault which was to date from the 14th-15th centuries. The nave is today covered with a modern barrel vault.
