History

Former noble dwelling comprising two main dwelling blocks of two storeys, forming a right angle between them in which rises a turret with cut angles containing a spiral staircase serving the storeys. The facades present at their extremities a triangular gable whose upper angle joins a hip. On the rue Portail Lavergne, a facade whose ground floor and first storey have had their openings remade in the 18th century. On the ground floor open two wide portals whose arches in basket-handle form rest on pilasters by means of moulded impost blocks of a cyma under a band. In the spandrel of their arches projects a square stone upon which rests, at its lower part, a moulded corbel of three large superimposed cymas supporting the slab of a balcony projecting at the first storey. The openings of the staircase tower are chamfered. The tower has its upper part with timber-framing structure. It is covered with a roof of five slopes, surmounted by a glazed terracotta finial.
