Le prieuré Saint-Nicaise possède une origine ancienne : une chapelle fut élevée vers 660 par les moines de Saint-Ouen de Rouen. Au 13e siècle, le prieuré possédait deux manoirs, l'un au-delà de la rivière, le second dans le bourg, à proximité de l'église paroissiale. De celui-ci subsistent : un corps de logis (ou bâtiment sud) dont la construction peut remonter au 13e-14e siècle, remanié au 15e siècle (percements, poutraison portant un décor peint) , aménagé au 18e siècle (retour d'équerre côté est) ; une galerie en briques du 15e siècle ; un bâtiment légèrement désaxé conservant des traces d'anciens piliers d'entrée ; au sud-ouest, des vestiges du mur de clôture.

History
The priory of Saint-Nicaise has an ancient origin: a chapel was erected around 660 by the monks of Saint-Ouen of Rouen. In the 13th century, the priory possessed two manors, one beyond the river, the second in the town, near the parish church. Of the latter survive: a main dwelling (or southern building) whose construction may go back to the 13th-14th century, remodeled in the 15th century (openings, timber structure bearing painted decoration), developed in the 18th century (right angle return on the east side); a gallery in brick from the 15th century; a building slightly off-axis preserving traces of former entrance pillars; to the south-west, remains of the boundary wall.
