Historique
Ce château a été construit entre 1653 et 1665 pour Alexandre de Créquy. De nombreuses campagnes de transformation sont intervenues à la fin du 17e siècle et au cours du 18e siècle par les Mailloc (1703-1706) et les Harcourt (1755-1760 et 1780-1790 : petits appartements, chapelle néo-classique de la fin du 18e siècle). Une restauration a été entreprise de 1903 à 1934 par les Harcourt, puis à partir de 1992 (ensemble du corps de logis) par le décorateur J. Garcia. Le parc boisé, dessiné à la fin du 17e siècle, a été augmenté de parterres au 18e siècle et doté de longues perspectives. Le golf a été aménagé sur une partie du parc dans les années 1980. History
This castle was constructed between 1653 and 1665 for Alexandre de Créquy. Numerous campaigns of transformation took place at the end of the 17th century and during the 18th century by the Mailloc (1703-1706) and the Harcourt (1755-1760 and 1780-1790: small apartments, neo-classical chapel of the late 18th century). A restoration was undertaken from 1903 to 1934 by the Harcourt, then from 1992 onwards (the entire main dwelling) by decorator J. Garcia. The wooded park, designed at the end of the 17th century, was enlarged with parterres in the 18th century and provided with long perspectives. The golf course was laid out on part of the park in the 1980s. The gardens were redesigned in the spirit of the 17th century by J. Garcia.
