Historique
L'église a été construite sur un site qui fut certainement celui d'une petite bourgade antique. L'édifice comporte une nef prolongée par une abside semi-circulaire. L'appareil des murs est composé de dalles de granit jaune doré. L'abside a été surélevée et des fenêtres ont été ajoutées. La façade occidentale est percée d'une porte formée de piédroits monolithes et d'un linteau rectangulaire, et est surmontée d'un arc. Dans la partie supérieure se trouvent trois éléments décoratifs disposés sur une ligne, puis le fronton occupé par une arcature de neufs arcs entre lesquels des cavités circulaires comportaient à l'origine des bols de céramique aux couleurs vives. History
The church was built on a site which was certainly that of a small ancient township. The building comprises a nave prolonged by a semi-circular apse. The masonry of the walls is composed of yellow-gold granite slabs. The apse has been raised and windows have been added. The west facade is pierced by a door formed of monolithic jambs and a rectangular lintel, and is surmounted by an arch. In the upper part are three decorative elements arranged in a line, then the pediment occupied by an arcade of nine arches between which circular cavities originally contained bowls of brightly coloured pottery. Three busts or human heads treated in high relief are found on either side of the arch surmounting the door.
