La maison s'ouvre par une porte du début du 16e siècle, dont le chambranle a très certainement été sculpté à Gênes. L'angle des montants est orné d'une petite torsade. Deux consoles moulurées soutiennent le linteau sculpté. Le décor de ce linteau comporte un chrisme couronné accosté de deux vases d'où sortent des rinceaux encadrant deux initiales en majuscule gothique. Aux extrémités se voient deux blasons au lion rampant entourés de riches lambrequins et timbrés d'un heaume ayant pour cimier une grâcieuse figurine d'anges. Charles Quint aurait logé dans cette maison en 1541.

History
The house opens by a door of the early 16th century, whose surround has almost certainly been carved in Genoa. The corner of the uprights is ornamented with a small twist. Two moulded consoles support the carved lintel. The decoration of this lintel comprises a crowned chi-rho flanked by two vases from which emerge arabesques framing two initials in Gothic majuscule. At the ends are two coats of arms with a rampant lion surrounded by rich lambrequins and crested with a helm having as a crest a graceful figurine of angels. Charles V is said to have lodged in this house in 1541.
