History
Building erected on the site of the former church of Saint-Pierre-Empont, sold in 1793, based on a project by architect François Pagot. It is a building of circular central plan, formerly covered with a dome. This rotunda has a diameter of 14.80m. It opens through a portal of Ionic order with pediment. The whole is crowned by an entablature of Ionic order, decorated with triglyphs and metopes, the latter decorated with ray medallions.
