The church was undoubtedly founded at the end of the 12th century, then transformed at the end of the 15th or beginning of the 16th century. A porch tower serves as the façade of the nave terminated by two bays with rib vaulting, constituting the choir. The nave is flanked to the north by an aisle. It is covered with a roof structure in the form of a vault, with a plafond, with five chamfered tie-beams and tie-rods visible. It communicates with the aisle by means of three pointed arches, supported by two pillars, one round, the other octagonal, on which rest the mouldings of the arcs very characteristic of the 15th century. At the extremity of the nave, the two bays of choir with rib vaulting can be dated to the 13th century. The bell tower is of square plan, flanked by buttresses, those of the west framing a portal with a depressed arch and mouldings, flanked by two pinacles and formerly surmounted by counter-curves which have fallen. The keystone is formed by a bust of a putto holding a shield. At the upper part of the bell tower open, on each face, two geminated openings with louvres. On the east side, remain the remains of the former entrance of the nave of the 13th century. It is a portal formed of four small columns supporting the rolls of pointed arches framing a tympanum, currently relieved by a depressed arch visibly added to widen the portal. Behind this portal is found the staircase with a central newel, rising to the height of the tie-beams, which allows access to the belfry.
