Village rural et bourg commerçant entre Montargis et Bellegarde-du-Loiret, le roi Charles IX établit à Ladon, en faveur du sire de Bésigny, quatre foires franches de tous impôts et péages. La halle est un ouvrage en charpente de bois, sans clôture, de quatre travées sur les petits côtés et six sur les grands, couvert d'une toiture à quatre versants dont la partie supérieure forme lanterneau, surmonté au centre d'un clocheton octogonal.

History
Rural village and trading town between Montargis and Bellegarde-du-Loiret, King Charles IX established at Ladon, in favour of the Sire of Bésigny, four market fairs free of all taxes and tolls. The market hall is a work in timber framing, without enclosure, of four bays on the short sides and six on the long sides, covered with a hip roof of which the upper part forms a lantern, surmounted at the centre by an octagonal bell turret.
