Historique
Le château existait au 12e siècle. Détruit par les Anglais et reconstruit au 15e siècle. Plusieurs rois y séjournèrent : Saint-Louis en 1427, Charles VIII en 1493 et Anne de Bretagne. La tour ouest s'est effondrée vers 1880. Une terrasse fut construite à son emplacement. L'échauguette sud-ouest date de cette époque.

History
The castle existed in the 12th century. Destroyed by the English and rebuilt in the 15th century. Several kings stayed there: Saint-Louis in 1427, Charles VIII in 1493 and Anne of Brittany. The west tower collapsed around 1880. A terrace was built in its place. The south-west watch turret dates from this period.
