Historique
Eglise fortifiée construite au 13e siècle, qui dépendait de l'abbaye de Saint-Denis. Elle comportait primitivement huit travées. De cette époque datent la moitié de la crypte, la base du clocher, une fenêtre et la corniche replacée sur le mur sud. Brûlée vers 1427 par les Anglais, elle est rebâtie à la fin du 15e siècle. Le clocher était alors fortifié et l'entrée de la tour protégée par une herse dont se voient encore les coulisses. Le pont-levis a disparu. Des marches conduisent actuellement au seuil de l'ancienne porte et donnent accès au porche sous lequel sont conservées deux meurtrières. La crypte occupe toute la superficie du choeur et de ses bas-côtés. L'accès se fait par deux escaliers partant l'un de l'intérieur de l'église, l'autre de l'extérieur. La basse nef a été ajoutée sous le règne de François Ier.

History
Fortified church built in the 13th century, which was dependent on the abbey of Saint-Denis. It originally comprised eight bays. From this period date half of the crypt, the base of the bell tower, a window and the cornice replaced on the south wall. Burned around 1427 by the English, it was rebuilt at the end of the 15th century. The bell tower was then fortified and the entrance of the tower protected by a portcullis, of which the grooves can still be seen. The drawbridge has disappeared. Steps currently lead to the threshold of the old door and give access to the porch under which two loopholes are preserved. The crypt occupies the entire area of the choir and its aisles. Access is by two staircases, one from inside the church, the other from outside. The lower nave was added under the reign of François Ier.
