Historique
L'ensemble de l'hospice se compose de nombreux bâtiments construits à diverses époques. Un mur de chapelle présente une corniche romane, à proximité du clocher de Saint-Firmin. Une épitaphe du 16e siècle se trouve à l'intérieur de la chapelle et commémore le souvenir d'un bienfaiteur, Jean Pivin, mort en 1520. Une tourelle d'escalier octogonale et quelques fenêtres Renaissance sont situées au fond de la cour d'honneur. Le mur de clôture sur la place est percé d'une porte d'entrée composée d'un arc encadré de deux pilastres Renaissance. L'origine de l'hospice est antérieure au 12e siècle (mentionné dès 1075). History
The hospice complex is composed of numerous buildings constructed at various periods. A chapel wall displays a Romanesque cornice, near the bell tower of Saint-Firmin. A 16th-century epitaph is found inside the chapel and commemorates the memory of a benefactor, Jean Pivin, who died in 1520. An octagonal staircase turret and some Renaissance windows are situated at the far end of the courtyard of honour. The enclosure wall on the square is pierced by an entrance door composed of an arch framed by two Renaissance pilasters. The origin of the hospice predates the 12th century (mentioned as early as 1075). The right wing was built in 1777. The left wing remained unfinished.
