Historique

History
Château composed of a rectangular main dwelling flanked by two side pavilions, built on a platform surrounded by a moat spanned by three bridges. The elevations are in brick and stone. Vertical strips, made up of stone slabs, punctuate the façade and divide it into seven regular bays topped by a triangular or semi-circular pediment, alternating. The side pavilions, which house the kitchen to the west and the chapel to the east, employ the same construction technique. Inside, the reception rooms en suite occupy the ground floor, the bedrooms the storey above. A suspended spiral staircase leads to the upper level. The decoration dates from the 18th century. That of the chapel, by contrast, is not earlier than the 19th century, and reuses a 16th-century stained-glass window.
