Machine éolienne du type pylône créé par l'ingénieur-constructeur-hydraulicien E. Lebert, détenteur, à partir de 1898, des brevets de l'entreprise d'Auguste Bollée. Cette éolienne a été installée en 1911 et inaugurée le 17 mars 1912. Elle alimentait en eau courante potable le village d'Epuisay et desservait aussi son lavoir communal. Au sol, un réservoir d'une capacité de 200 mètres cubes, construit en béton armé et brique, garantissait l'alimentation en eau en cas d'absence de vent. Haute de 21 mètres, avec une turbine de 5 mètres de diamètre, elle a servi jusqu'en 1967.

History
Windmill of the pylon type created by the engineer-constructor-hydraulicist E. Lebert, holder, from 1898, of the patents of the company of Auguste Bollée. This windmill was installed in 1911 and inaugurated on 17 March 1912. It supplied the village of Epuisay with drinking running water and also served its communal wash-house.
