History
The mill belongs to the type of pivot mills or "candelabra", the most common model north of the Loire. Here, it is devoid of a turret (store or masonry dwelling situated under the sole) and its pedestal is visible. Its mechanism is complete, apart from the sifter. The mechanism of the Talcy mill has the particular feature of possessing two millstones, arranged side by side, driven by a gearing formed of three pinions situated under the main beam, on the lower storey.
