History
The castle is built on a platform surrounded by water-filled moats. It consists of a central section, the oldest part, flanked by two wings at right angles. On each side of the façade of the central section stands a tower crowned with machicolations. The wings are connected to the central section by a pavilion. A square tower rises at their western extremity. The south façade of the north wing is pierced by arcades from the 19th century.
