Reste de l'ancienne porte de ville, dite Porte aux Renards. De part son étroitesse et sa difficulté d'accès, elle pouvait être défendue par peu d'hommes. Elle était munie d'une herse, sans pont-levis. C'est une tour carrée dont la partie supérieure a été arasée. L'ensemble de la tour est en maçonnerie de moëllons. La façade sur le Cher est percée de trois meurtrières. Cet édifice a été détruit le 21 ou le 22 janvier 1947.

History
Remnant of the old town gate, called the Porte aux Renards. On account of its narrowness and difficulty of access, it could be defended by a small number of men. It was equipped with a portcullis, without a drawbridge. It is a square tower whose upper part has been levelled off. The whole of the tower is in rubble stone masonry. The façade overlooking the Cher is pierced by three loopholes. This edifice was destroyed on 21 or 22 January 1947.
