Historique
Château élevé pour Philippe du Moulin par l'architecte Jacques de Persigny. Entouré de douves, le manoir est construit en briques losangées rouges et noires avec arêtes de pierre. Il se compose de deux corps de bâtiments : le logis comprend l'habitation et la chapelle ; un second bâtiment contient l'entrée et une cuisine voûtée sur pilier central. L'accès au château se fait par un portail accosté d'une poterne et flanqué de deux tours précédées d'un pont-levis. Au-dessus du portail se trouvent deux chambres dont une avec peintures murales. Au-dessus se dresse un campanile moderne. Ce corps de bâtiment est terminé, dans l'angle, par une tour. Dans le jardin se remarquent un vieux puits en fer forgé, une tour en ruine et les restes d'une seconde chapelle. Des quatre tours d'angle de l'enceinte, une seule subsiste.

History
Castle built for Philippe du Moulin by the architect Jacques de Persigny. Surrounded by a moat, the manor is constructed of red and black lozenge-shaped bricks with stone quoins. It comprises two building ranges: the main dwelling includes the residence and the chapel; a second building contains the entrance and a vaulted kitchen with central pillar. Access to the castle is by a portal flanked by a postern and flanked by two towers preceded by a drawbridge. Above the portal are two chambers, one of which with wall paintings. Above rises a modern bell tower. This building range is terminated, at the corner, by a tower. In the garden are remarked an old wrought-iron well, a ruined tower and the remains of a second chapel. Of the four corner towers of the enclosure, only one remains.
