History
The château consists of an almost square courtyard, surrounded by moats on three sides. The drawbridge leads to a fortified door, defended by machicolations and a corbelled turret added in the 15th century. On entering the courtyard, on the left, are found the remains of 13th-century constructions, including a ground floor serving as a great dining hall with a fireplace preserving traces of paint. Access to the first floor is by a staircase contained in a tower. To the right of the entrance, connected by a timber gallery to the 13th-century buildings, are found the more substantial 15th-century constructions, with alterations in the 16th century.
