Historique
Eglise en croix latine, bâtie à l'emplacement d'une très ancienne chapelle dont la fondation est attribuée à Saint-Julien. Elle fut entretenue en partie, et restaurée parfois par les familles de Coutances et Courtavel, seigneurs de Baillou, dont les armoiries se trouvent dans l'église. La tour polygonale fut construite à l'époque moderne pour pouvoir accéder plus facilement à l'horloge. Il existait autrefois des fresques qui ont disparu lors de la restauration de l'édifice. Baies en tiers-points à remplages flamboyants. Vitraux du 16e siècle. Le pignon ouest s'ouvre par un portail Renaissance, probablement d'inspiration italienne, décrivant un arc en anse de panier flanqué de deux pilastres à chapiteaux sculptés d'animaux. Il est surmonté d'un entablement sculpté, et d'une niche à coquille en forme d'accolade à crochets, accompagnée de deux pinacles.

History
Church in Latin cross, built on the site of a very ancient chapel whose foundation is attributed to Saint-Julien. It was maintained in part and sometimes restored by the families of Coutances and Courtavel, lords of Baillou, whose arms are found in the church. The polygonal tower was built in the modern period to be able to access the clock more easily. There were formerly frescoes which disappeared during the restoration of the building.
