History
To the 13th-century castle were added, on the original substructures, the western and northern wings, while preserving the towers. The moats were laid out around 1620. In 1736, what remained of the old castle was demolished and the eastern wing was built, completing the castle as it is today. From 1730 onwards, three fixed bridges crossed the moats and the primitive drawbridge had been removed. Under the Restoration, a central avant-corps with its balcony with balusters supported by four columns, and the triangular pediment which dominates it, were added to the south façade.
