Historique
La maison, en pierre, a appartenu à la famille Binet, notables tourangeaux des 15e et 16e siècles. L'hôtel se compose d'un bâtiment principal et de trois ailes en retour d'équerre, deux vers l'ouest, une vers l'est. La façade ouest du bâtiment principal est accompagnée d'une tour polygonale logeant un escalier à vis. L'entrée de la tour se fait par une porte en anse de panier surmontée d'une accolade garnie de crochets et encadrée de pinacles. Au sud de la tour, se trouve un petit oratoire carré. Les deux ailes sont reliées par une galerie à piliers de bois desservie par deux escaliers tournants, également en bois, à balustres, situés dans les angles.

History
The house, in stone, belonged to the Binet family, notable Tours citizens of the 15th and 16th centuries. The hôtel comprises a main building and three return wings at right angles, two towards the west, one towards the east. The west façade of the main building is accompanied by a polygonal tower housing a spiral staircase. The entrance to the tower is through a basket-handle door surmounted by an ogee arch garnished with crockets and framed by pinnacles. To the south of the tower is found a small square oratory. The two wings are connected by a gallery with timber pillars served by two spiral staircases, also in wood, with balusters, situated in the angles.
