Ce couvent fut fondé en 1619 et établi en 1625 dans le parc de la petite Bourdaisière. Des anciens bâtiments conventuels subsiste un grand bâtiment rectangulaire accompagné de deux pavillons. La nef de la chapelle Saint-Michel est attenante au logis de la Petite Bourdaisière. Ce dernier édifice, construit en brique et pierre et présentant une tourelle d'escalier polygonale abrita une manufacture de tapisserie avant d'être cédé aux Ursulines. La chapelle Saint-Joseph, édifiée en même temps que le logis de la Petite Bourdaisière, a été démoli en 1948.

History
This convent was founded in 1619 and established in 1625 in the park of the little Bourdaisière. Of the former conventual buildings subsists a large rectangular building accompanied by two pavilions. The nave of the Saint-Michel chapel is adjoining the main dwelling of the Petite Bourdaisière. The latter edifice, constructed in brick and stone and presenting a polygonal staircase turret housed a tapestry manufactory before being ceded to the Ursulines. The Saint-Joseph chapel, built at the same time as the main dwelling of the Petite Bourdaisière, was demolished in 1948.
