Historique
Prieuré fondé vers 987 par Thibault, seigneur de l'Ile Bouchard, et donné par lui à l'abbaye de Marmoutier. A la fin du 11e siècle, il fut incendié, puis relevé. Abandonnée à la ruine après la Révolution, l'église était composée d'une nef avec deux collatéraux et probablement d'un choeur terminé par une abside semi circulaire. Un clocher fut reconstruit au 15e siècle sur le flanc sud du choeur. De cet ensemble subsistent les trois travées du collatéral sud, avec les arrachements de leurs voûtes et les trois arcades en plein cintre qui les reliaient à la nef.

History
Priory founded around 987 by Thibault, lord of the Ile Bouchard, and given by him to the abbey of Marmoutier. At the end of the 11th century, it was burned, then rebuilt. Abandoned to ruin after the Revolution, the church was composed of a nave with two aisles and probably a choir ended by a semi-circular apse. A bell tower was rebuilt in the 15th century on the south side of the choir. From this ensemble remain the three bays of the south aisle, with the springing of their vaults and the three round-arched arcades which connected them to the nave.
