Aux 13e et 14e siècles, Rilly formait un fief relevant de l'archevêché de Tours. La nef, prolongée d'un tiers en 1870 par l'architecte Guérin, aboutit à une travée carrée de la fin du 12e siècle ou du début 13e. Au sud de cette travée, se trouve une chapelle seigneuriale du 15e sècle. Une chapelle symétrique au nord date de 1870. Au-dessus de la travée carrée, le clocher octogonal surmonté d'une flèche basse est contemporain.

History
In the 13th and 14th centuries, Rilly formed a fief held from the archbishopric of Tours. The nave, extended by a third in 1870 by the architect Guérin, ends in a square bay of the late 12th century or early 13th. To the south of this bay, is found a seigneurial chapel of the 15th century. A symmetrical chapel to the north dates from 1870. Above the square bay, the octagonal bell tower surmounted by a low spire is contemporary.
