History
Of the castle built by the Cardinal de Richelieu in the 17th century, and almost entirely destroyed at the beginning and end of the 19th century, there remain only the entrance hemicycle with its pavilions and its central door; the central pavilion of the right wing of the fore-court (pavilion called the Dome); the moats and the former access bridge to the court of honour; the two end pavilions of the hemicycle terminating to the east the gardens.
