La tour a été réédifiée sur la base d'un ancien moulin à vent et aménagée en appartement (acte notarié de 1766). Elle subsiste aujourd'hui dans le parc (en partie loti) du Clos Saint-Victor. Le château, construit dans les années 1890 pour le comte de Sabran-Pontevès, a remplacé l'ancienne maison forte de la Maucannière.

History
The tower was rebuilt on the basis of an old windmill and fitted out as an apartment (notarial deed of 1766). It subsists today in the park (partly subdivided) of Clos Saint-Victor. The castle, built in the 1890s for the count of Sabran-Pontevès, replaced the old fortified house of La Maucannière.
