History
The walls of the nave, in small ashlar, date overall from the 10th century. This Carolingian edifice was altered on several occasions. Two large engaged cylindrical piers precede the choir by one bay, vaulted on a rib vault and on ribs and wall arches in pointed arch. Over this bay rises a square and fortified bell tower, flanked by machicolated turrets at each angle, and dating from the 12th century. A short sanctuary of the same period terminates the edifice. At the angles of the flat chevet are two cylindrical turrets. On the gable is visible, in the masonry, a Latin cross decorated with interlacing and a rosace surmounting a barry escutcheon.
