History
The village of Crissay was meant to be a dormitory village. Forming a collection of gentlemen's dwellings, it certainly housed members of the court of Charles VII. This house of rectangular plan, raised one storey above ground level and with a roof space with dormers, presents a façade accompanied by a staircase tower. The entrance door, to the west, is a basket arch and surmounted by an ogee with crockets and a fleuron. The staircase connecting the storeys is in stone and decorated with sculptures. The great hall on the first floor is heated by a fireplace whose hood was stamped with sculptured arms, and is supported by columns engaged in the jambs.
