History
The church comprises a nave in ashlar, consecrated in 1091. The crossing presents the rare feature of being barrel vaulted, as are the transept arms and the choir. The two apsidioles opening in the transept arms and that of the sanctuary are vaulted in apse form. Externally, the cornices are ornamented with fine mouldings at the main apse, supported by small grotesque modillions at the transept arms. The original joints are fairly wide, projecting, bevelled, as in the 11th century, but also present a trowel mark in the vertical joints. The spire of the bell tower appears to be a reworking somewhat later than the whole.
