Former fief dependent on Charentilly and Rillé, qualified as a castellany in 1712. The original seigneurial dwelling is a rectangular building of one storey over a ground floor, surmounted by high roof spaces. This part was enlarged identically towards the west in the 19th century. The dwelling is flanked by a polygonal stair tower. The castle and its outbuildings are surrounded by an enclosure and moat on a rectangular plan. The east entrance gate is framed by two Gothic windows and flanked by two round defence towers. The fixed bridge giving access to it, with two arches, is original, as are the three small round towers situated at the corners of the whole. The south-east one was transformed into a chapel in the 19th century. A farm building closes off the quadrilateral of outbuildings to the east. To the north-east, another bridge, consisting of a pointed arch, spans the moat to give access to the lower courtyard. It is surmounted by two walls perpendicular to the moat, which were those of the tower serving as a gate. Inside, a fireplace from the late 16th century retains the paintings on its mantelpiece.
