Historique
Demeure construite entre 1820 et 1830, réalisée par l'architecte qui l'habita ensuite. Sur un plan presque carré, la maison est constituée d'une partie centrale, d'un étage et de deux ailes seulement en rez-de-chaussée. Le décrochement des toitures est caché par un fronton triangulaire qui prend toute la longueur de la façade. La partie centrale est ornée de gros modillons cubiques. En décrochement du couronnement, petits modillons sur le bandeau entre les deux étages. Au rez-de-chaussée, trois portes plein cintre avec quatre pilastres plats. Sur l'autre face, une rotonde, à moitié en saillie du bâtiment, est recouverte en dôme. Les fenêtres du rez-de-chaussée ont un couronnement soutenu par deux consoles. Deux fausses fenêtres fermées de persiennes cachent les conduits de cheminées. L'aménagement intérieur est caractéristique de certaines tentatives Restauration. Toutes les pièces sont rondes, ovales ou arrondies. La décoration se compose de boiseries et stucs. La rampe d'escalier, de fonte et bronze, est spécifique à la période. Le plafond de l'escalier est en dôme.

History
Dwelling constructed between 1820 and 1830, realised by the architect who subsequently lived there. On an almost square plan, the house consists of a central section of one storey and two wings at ground level only. The stepped roof is hidden by a triangular pediment which spans the entire length of the façade. The central section is decorated with large cubic modillions. Set back from the crowning, small modillions on the band between the two storeys. At ground level, three round-arch doors with four flat pilasters. On the other side, a rotunda, half projecting from the building, is covered with a dome. The ground-floor windows have a crowning supported by two consoles. Two false windows closed with shutters conceal the chimney flues. The internal arrangement is characteristic of certain Restoration attempts. All the rooms are round, oval or rounded. The decoration consists of panelling and plasterwork. The staircase rail, of cast iron and bronze, is specific to the period. The staircase ceiling is domed.
