Château construit au 16e siècle sur une ancienne porte fortifiée flanquée de deux tours. Sa disposition générale semble avoir été subordonnée à l'utilisation des constructions antérieures. L'ensemble de la porte médiévale était couronné de créneaux, mâchicoulis et échauguettes. La partie centrale de la porte est percée, au rez-de-chaussée, de deux ouvertures sous porche voûté, donnant accès à la cour terrasse où se trouvent les corps de logis. La porte a ensuite été exhaussée. A l'aile gauche, un avant corps a été ajouté au 16e siècle, ainsi qu'une petite tour octogonale, en partie engagée dans la porte. Près du vieux château se trouvent les restes de deux grosses tours entre lesquelles s'élève le château moderne.

History
Castle built in the 16th century on an ancient fortified gate flanked by two towers. Its general disposition seems to have been subordinated to the use of the earlier constructions. The entirety of the medieval gate was crowned with crenellations, machicolations and bartizans. The central part of the gate is pierced, at ground level, with two openings under a vaulted porch, giving access to the terrace courtyard where the main buildings are located. The gate was subsequently raised. On the left wing, a forward projecting section was added in the 16th century, as well as a small octagonal tower, partly engaged in the gate. Near the old castle are the remains of two large towers between which rises the modern castle.
