Tour édifiée au 15e siècle sur une ancienne porte de ville bâtie plus tôt. Les travaux, commencés en 1495, se sont achevés vers 1500. Au rez-de-chaussée se trouve la voûte du 13e siècle en berceau brisé, sous laquelle passe la rue. Au-dessus s'élèvent deux étages carrés, puis un comble à quatre pans qui se termine par un campanile hexagonal. Du côté de la ville, de grandes fenêtres à meneaux éclairent ces étages dont l'accès se fait par un escalier en tourelle.

History
Tower built in the 15th century on an old city gate built earlier. The works, begun in 1495, were completed around 1500. On the ground floor is found the barrel vault of the 13th century, beneath which passes the street. Above it rise two square storeys, then a roof with four slopes which ends in a hexagonal belfry. On the town side, large mullioned windows light these storeys to which access is gained by a turret staircase.
