Historique
Château construit au 12e siècle, remanié au 15e (aile centrale). A la fin du 19e siècle, les propriétaires ont enlevé au château des matériaux, en particulier les planchers et les solives ou poutres en chêne, pour les transporter ailleurs en vue de leur réemploi à des constructions modernes. Le château ne comporte plus ni toitures, ni planchers, ni menuiseries. Il était entouré autrefois d'une enceinte fortifiée avec tours de défense et porte monumentale. History
Castle built in the 12th century, modified in the 15th (central wing). At the end of the 19th century, the owners removed materials from the castle, in particular the floors and oak joists or beams, to transport them elsewhere for reuse in modern constructions. The castle no longer has roofs, floors or joinery. It was formerly surrounded by a fortified wall with defensive towers and a monumental gate. A corbelled communication gallery must have existed formerly above the East wall, two doors facing each other at the same level, one at the north-east tower, the other at the central wing. From the central wing, descent to the garden terrace by a stone staircase with perron. At the south-east corner of the garden terrace, there is an octagonal tower projecting outward.
