Aux 17e et 18e siècles, nombreuses furent les halles en charpente édifiées. Ces édifices ont presque tous été détruits et remplacés, souvent à la fin du 19e siècle, par des constructions en fer, fonte et béton. History
In the 17th and 18th centuries, many timber-framed halls were built. These buildings were almost all destroyed and replaced, often at the end of the 19th century, by constructions of iron, cast iron and concrete. The halls of Vatan, in timber framing, consist of three naves of three bays, the central nave having a width double that of the side naves. The roof structure is supported by wooden posts or stone pillars, these latter on the lateral faces.
