Ancienne demeure féodale fortifiée qui assurait la surveillance de la vallée. L'accès se fait par un porche dans-oeuvre ouvert dans les dépendances. Le château est au fond d'une cour bordée au sud par un jardin à la française du début du 20e siècle. L'édifice médiéval présente un corps de logis rectangulaire cantonné de quatre tours cylindriques aux angles, et flanqué d'une tour d'escalier hors-oeuvre au centre de la sa façade sur cour. Un pavillon classique de la fin du 17e ou du début du 18e siècle, a été construit sur la façade sud, entre la tour ouest et la tour d'escalier. L'oratoire du château conserve des peintures murales du 16e siècle.

History
Former fortified feudal dwelling which ensured the surveillance of the valley. Access is by a porch built into the dependencies. The castle is at the end of a courtyard bordered to the south by an early 20th century French garden. The medieval building presents a rectangular main dwelling flanked by four cylindrical towers at the angles, and flanked by an external stair tower at the centre of its courtyard façade. A classical pavilion of the late 17th or early 18th century was built on the south façade, between the west tower and the stair tower. The castle's oratory preserves mural paintings of the 16th century.
