History

The earliest mentions of this fortress date from the 12th century. In the 17th century, the Marquise de Montespan lived there with her two sisters. Rebuilt in the 15th century on the substructions of the 12th century fortress, the château was modified and completed in the 17th century by a pavilion of a very regional classicism. The buildings are erected around a courtyard whose access is via a bridge crossing the moat. Three building blocks surround the courtyard.
