Le château fut un important poste militaire pendant la guerre de Cent ans. Il comportait alors cinq tours. L'édifice se compose actuellement d'un corps de logis auquel sont accolées deux tours rondes à étage de mâchicoulis. Cette partie primitive du château a été modifiée au 18e siècle. Deux annexes ont été accolées sur la façade ouest, dans l'angle sud des tours. La façade Est a été complètement refaite au 18e siècle. A l'extrémité sud de ce corps de logis, a été bâtie au 18e siècle une aile perpendiculairement. A l'écart du château ont été conservés des éléments de l'ancien édifice : une tour située à l'est dans le prolongement de l'aile sud ; une ferme ; au fond du jardin, un petit bâtiment semi circulaire.

History
The castle was an important military post during the Hundred Years War. It then comprised five towers. The building currently consists of a main dwelling to which are attached two round towers with a storey of machicolations. This primitive part of the castle was modified in the 18th century. Two annexes were attached to the west façade, in the south angle of the towers. The east façade was completely remade in the 18th century. At the south end of this main dwelling, a wing was built perpendicular in the 18th century. Apart from the castle, elements of the old building have been preserved: a tower situated to the east in the extension of the south wing; a farm; in the back of the garden, a small semi-circular building.
