Le Coudray-Herpin relevait de la baronnie de Graçay. Il fut assiégé par les Anglais au 15e siècle, et les Ligueurs y passèrent en 1590. History
Le Coudray-Herpin was under the barony of Graçay. It was besieged by the English in the 15th century, and the Leaguers passed through it in 1590. The castle comprises two edifices: a manor of the 15th century reworked in the 17th, with a square entrance tower and a semi-circular tower; an edifice of the 15th century with main entrance and gallery resting on five and three pillars, on either side of the entrance. The arcades are slightly lowered on polygonal pillars surmounted by small capitals.
