History
This church has been disused since 1906. It is a former priory church founded by the monks of Villelouin Abbey, built in Romanesque style in fine rubble stone of tuffeau at the end of the 12th century, and covered in the early 13th century with domed rib vaults, of Angevin type. The building was remodelled in the second half of the 15th century (three eastern bays; bell tower). The Romanesque portal opens onto the Gothic nave. The 16th-century porch in front of the portal still existed in 1954. Inside, remains of paintings (funeral stripe).
