Historique
Petite église rurale de style roman, remaniée aux siècles suivants. Le choeur à chevet plat est séparé en deux travées par un doubleau porté sur deux colonnes à chapiteaux sculptés. Le transept nord a conservé son absidiole orientée voûtée en quart de sphère. Le transept sud a été remplacé, sans doute au 13e siècle, par un élément voûté d'ogives et comportant deux travées, l'une plus large correspondant à l'ancien transept, l'autre plus étroite et remplaçant l'absidiole. Le portail présente une arcade en tiers point constituée de plusieurs éléments moulurés qui paraissent du 14e siècle. Au-dessus de cette baie ogivale est incrusté un panneau sculpté du 12e siècle représentant un Christ en gloire accompagné des quatre symboles des Evangélistes. Des restes de peintures murales se voient sur le mur au nord de la nef, encadré par un filet ocre rouge pour certaines scènes. Pour d'autres, le cadre s'agrémente d'ornements en feuilles de fougères stylisées.

History
Small rural church of Romanesque style, altered in subsequent centuries. The choir with flat chevet is separated into two bays by a transverse arch carried on two columns with sculpted capitals. The north transept retained its oriented absidiole vaulted in a quarter sphere. The south transept was replaced, probably in the 13th century, by a ribbed vault element comprising two bays, one wider corresponding to the former transept, the other narrower and replacing the absidiole. The portal presents a pointed arch arcade consisting of several moulded elements which appear to date from the 14th century. Above this ogival opening is embedded a sculpted panel from the 12th century representing Christ in Glory accompanied by the four symbols of the Evangelists. Remains of wall paintings are visible on the wall to the north of the nave, framed by a red ochre line for certain scenes. For others, the frame is decorated with ornaments of stylised fern leaves.
