History
The former church is built on a rectangular plan, terminated by a flat chevet. To the west, a modern porch has been added in front of the 13th-century portal. This is a perfect and very rare example of a Franciscan church of the first half of the 13th century, presenting sober and elegant architecture and responding to the quest for simplicity and poverty required by the Rule of Saint Francis.
